Targeted Services

A Consortium member, Phytodata Consulting Services was created in 1991 by three agronomists to offer services to clients desiring to benefit from PRISME’s expertise without becoming a member.

This varied clientele consists of agricultural producers, municipalities, agri-food companies, suppliers, adjusters and insurance companies. These clients periodically call upon our expertise for a range of services including technology transfer, the delivery of R&D projects, workforce training, request for permits from the Commission for the Protection of Agricultural Land, etc.

 

In Complete Confidentiality, We Protect our Clients

Over the years, Phytodata Consultation Services has developed more than 100 areas of expertise which have protected our clients’ rights and supported their claims before various tribunals and regulatory bodies.

Among the services offered:

  • Elaboration of files for the Commission for the Protection of Agricultrual Land in Quebec;
  • Technical analysis and sampling with regard to inappropriate use of herbicides, insecticides and fungicides;
  • Evaluation of financial losses resulting from by-products or chemical contamination;
  • Identification of causes of substandard results;
  • Preparation of land development projects;
  • Development and management of research projects;
  • Elaboration of files for R&D tax credit claims.

Our Commitment: Client Satisfaction

The commitment of our professionals has been recognized by the agricultural community on several occasions, among others by the awards attributed to PRISME. The General manager of the Consortium and president of Phytodata Consulting Services, Mr. Luc Brodeur, received the 1988 Frédérick Trudel Award, in recognition of his contribution to the development of produce growing in Quebec, and, in 1996, the Agronomist distinction medal from the Quebec Order of Agronomists.
